Cyclocross is an obstacle course on a bike. Riders will dismount and remount their Little 500 bikes often as they negotiate haybales and stadium steps while trying to remain upright. The best riders make it look like a ballet on two wheels, while others are not as fluid.

Riders will participate in two-person teams. A rider will complete one lap before handing off to a teammate. Men's teams will complete a total of 12 laps and women will complete 10 laps. Only Little 500 bikes will be used in the event and bikes will be provided free of charge for those who need them. The race follows a course using Bill Armstrong Stadium and the Little 500 track.

Entry fee is just $20 per entrant for all three fall cycling events or $10 per entrant per event.

Little 500 is a service mark owned and licensed by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation.
