Fall 2007 IUSF Committees

Executive Officers
Jointly the executive officers provide the vision and leadership for the Student Foundation during their Steering committee term. Working closely with Foundation and Student Foundation staff and the Steering Committee, the officers ensure all the activities of the Student Foundation work cohesively toward accomplishing the Student Foundation's mission.

Alumni Affairs
The Alumni Affairs committee develops and maintains contact with over 20,000 Student Foundation alumni. This committee is responsible for IUSF homecoming activities, the alumni website, the alumni newsletter, and Career Connections. This committee meets Tuesdays at 8:00pm.

IU Sing
The members of the IU Sing Production Staff coordinate and organize all aspects of IU Sing. Committees include marketing, sponsorship and ticket sales, stage directors, judges and awards, emcee coordinators, songleader producers, and program devleopment and website. IU Sing, the campus'largest student run musical production, showcases various IU housing units and student groups who present 4-6 minute mini-musicals in front of sell-out crowds in the IU Auditorium. There is a separate application for Production Staff.

Fall Cycling
The Fall Cycling Committee will provide professional and competitive events to generate excitement among the Little 500 community, with the emphasis on recruiting new riders. This committee meets Tuesdays at 7:00pm.

Marketing
The Marketing committee will effectively promote a standardized Indiana University Student Foundation mission, thru use of effective advertising, sponsor relations, and merchandise sales. Students will work with various local and national businesses to: secure radio, television, internet, and print media; retain and develop new and existing sponsorships; design and market IUSF merchandise; and implement a successful IU Sing and Little 500 ticket campaign. This committee meets Tuesdays at 6:00pm.

Development and Communication
The D&C committee is responsible for the promotion of the IUSF through building effective relationships with other campus organizations, students and faculty and utilizing public relations tools to inform the coummunity on IUSF's activites and events. Ths committee is responsible for categorizing and recognizing current IUSF members and their accomplishments. This committee meets Wednesdays at 6:00pm.

Scholarships and Service
The Scholarships and Service committee is responsible for maintaining accurate scholarship information and appropriate donor interaction; promotion of scholarship opportunities to full-time IU students; as well as organizing all Student Foundation campus and community philanthropy involvement. They also plan and implement the Metz Grant program and the Metz Banquet. This committee meets Wednesdays at 8:00pm.
